Houston Rockets v Oklahoma City Thunder - Game Five

Gays cause tornadoes? Huh, and here we was thinking it was atmospheric instability in conjunction with a wind shear in a low pressure system. Guess that’s why you should never stop learning.

Tax exempt status should be revoked for All religions, the fact that Westboro enjoys tax exempt status is because they are a church . Does their dogma seem filled with hate, yes, but so do a lot of the worlds religions.

IRS should infact revoke their non profit status. Anyone who spews such hatred is not a Christian institution. They can exercise their First amendment rights and pay taxes.

Fred Phelps Jr., the son of Westboro Baptist Church minister Fred Phelps, tweeted the following:

A comment with a good sense of humor has this to say

That’s not fair. How come when Collins comes out he develops an ability to create Tornadoes, but when I come out, the only storm that brews is in my household?

Another commenter added

That’s weird. I blamed the tornado on the Westboro Baptist Church and all its members yesterday. So, I got there first.

It isn’t the first time that an anti-gay pundit has attempted to blame a natural disaster to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. In 2012, chaplain John McTernan linked Hurricane Sandy (and a number of other recent weather-related trends and natural disasters) on LGBT people and President Barack Obama’s backing of marriage equality.
